About GiveSurplus

GiveSurplus is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Southern Idaho. Our mission is simple: help organizations get rid of surplus electronics and turn that e-waste into an opportunity for the community. We provide fast, responsible computer recycling and tech disposal services that directly support education, social services, and community programs in the region.

Every year, businesses and institutions accumulate thousands of pounds of outdated tech—computers, wires, monitors, and more. GiveSurplus offers an easy way to donate or recycle old computers and electronics, keeping them out of the landfill while making room for what’s next.

We resell or responsibly recycle what’s donated. Our nonprofit computer recycling efforts ensure that proceeds go right back into Southern Idaho—supporting classrooms, youth programs, and local initiatives that make a difference.

Why It Matters

Donating surplus electronics isn’t just about clearing space—it’s about investing in the future of your community. Your old tech might fund a new microscope, classroom materials, or social outreach programs that change lives.

What We Accept

We take most electronics and tech hardware from businesses, schools, and organizations. If it plugs in or powers up, there’s a good chance we can use it. Have questions? Contact us to find out more.
